I tried to install autoconf, but I receive tis error. Would you please help
me to find the problem.

Autoconf 2.57 was released over 10 years ago. It probably predates the
operating system you are running.

I suggest trying again with a version from this decade; perhaps 2.69
will fare better. You can download the latest version from the Autoconf
website[1].
